Alexandria, Virginia Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a) Firm accepted into Small Business Administration’s 8(a) business development program

OneZero Solutions, LLC., an Alexandria, Virginia-based information technology, cybersecurity, program management, and enterprise technology Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a) consulting firm has been accepted into the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) program. As an 8(a) certified company, OneZero is eligible to participate in contracting activities under the special rights defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.8—Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program ). These contracting activities help jumpstart economically and socially disadvantaged business entities.

The 8(a) program is a nine-year business development program that provides business training, counseling, marketing and technical assistance to small businesses in the federal government contracting marketplace. 8(a) businesses can receive sole-source contracts (up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing) that have been set aside for certified firms. In addition, 8(a) firms can form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts to enhances the ability to successfully compete for and perform larger prime contracts.
