KYLE GAHAN
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Kyle S. Gahan, OneZero’s Chief Operating Officer, brings both military officer experience and more than 15 years of customer-facing interaction and operations management for successful 8(a) companies. While Kyle is responsible for the management / administration of multiple contracts, he also plays a large role in business development and corporate strategy for OneZero.
A graduate of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Academy in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Government, Mr. Gahan served six years in the United States Coast Guard as a Deck Watch Officer and Executive Officer in the USCG’s 7th District, and then served as liaison to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in its Operations Center until separation from service in 2006. After leaving the USCG, Kyle obtained his master’s degree (MBA) from University of Maryland and entered the contract industry at the USCG’s Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) where he immediately established a leadership role for an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) at the customer site. He also immersed himself in the world of enterprise-level information technology (IT) strategy, operations, and management, which will enable OneZero to grow its capabilities throughout the IT Sector.
Kyle has been responsible for a myriad of duties for quickly growing companies in the small business set-aside market and thrives when wearing many hats to accomplish company goals. He continues that pattern at Onezero, playing a key role in business development and capture management, while also creating and maintaining relationships with government customers across the broad spectrum of the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Intelligence Community (IC) arenas.
Kyle is married to Allyson Gahan and lives in Virginia Beach with his two children (Grayson and Avery). He loves fitness of all kinds and is active in the cycling, running, and CrossFit communities in the Tidewater area. He also enjoys coaching football, and any other sports where his kids choose to take interest.
