Bob Burnett, OneZero’s Chief Growth Officer, brings more than 15 years of business development, corporate growth and operations management experience in support of US Federal Government requirements. While Bob is primarily responsible for business development, he also plays an integral role in contract transitions and corporate strategy for OneZero.

A graduate of Old Dominion University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Interdisciplinary Studies as well as a master’s degree (MBA) from Ashford University in 2010, Bob has focused primarily on management and growth in the engineering services, acquisition support, and training arenas. Notable programmatic experience includes support to the US Coast Guard, Government Services Administration (GSA), and US Air Force (USAF). In terms of corporate growth and business development, Bob has leveraged several contract vehicles – GSA OASIS SB Pools 1 & 3, GSA MAS / PSS, and Seaport NxG among others and established a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) PMO structure to enable rapid evaluation and response to task order solicitations as well as an aligned ISO9001 certified proposal development process. He leveraged multiple ongoing strategic partnerships with a variety of large businesses and socio-economically disadvantaged small businesses in pursuit of Federal contracts. His focus on strategic growth and client satisfaction coupled with deep experience establishing and implementing successful people & process management structures has enabled Bob to consistently exceed delivery and growth expectations throughout his career, which will be key to enabling OneZero to achieve our growth goals.

Bob has built a strong track record of success in strategic planning, pipeline development and management, business development and capture, proposal development, strategic partnering, talent acquisition, staff development, and project management. Professionally, he is at his best in solution sessions with colleagues filling (mostly virtually) empty whiteboards with ideas and approaches that exceed client expectations. He continues that pattern at OneZero, playing a key role in corporate growth, while also creating and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and government customers across the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), DOD, and Intelligence Community (IC).

Bob is married to Jennifer Burnett and lives in Bend OR; his two sons (Logan and Alex) are living their best lives in nearby Portland OR. His personal and professional development interests include daily meditation and journaling; collaborating with likeminded colleagues and friends regarding ideas/concepts and ways of bettering ourselves and our communities; participating with his local ‘Work From Home’ community through idea sharing and meetups; and spending as much time outdoors as possible with Jenn hiking, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, camping or running with our dogs at the dog park.
